What About the Endowment?

Gifts to endowed funds are different in that the total amount of that gift is invested. The purpose is for the principal gift itself to live in perpetuity while the interest gained may be either reinvested or used toward operations of the foundation. The endowment continues to grow with the generosity of alumni and supporters – and this growth helps to ensure the future of Ag Leadership.

The foundation continues to fundraise in order to execute on its mission of “Growing leaders who make a difference.” Efforts to raise additional financial support is not only to future-proof the foundation with a strong endowment, but to also create and carry out a high-impact curriculum, develop exciting and meaningful alumni engagement opportunities, enhance fellow selection and ensure top-tier educators for fellows.
